Craft SphereCam is the perfect plug-in for close-up observation in the 3D environment. Pan around any object and see it from all angles. Engineers, architects and previz teams love this plug-in becuase the client or director can direct the camera path as it's recording. Realize your ideas faster!

Observe the action
Craft SphereCam is constantly pointed at the same point. The camera can pan around the point and look at it form any angle, zooming in and out.

As with all of Craft Director Tools, the magic is the real-time recording functionality. As you pan around the object being observed, key-frames are recorded automatically. Your view is captured automatically.

Organic
Constant speeds are unrealistic. Linnear movement is unrealistic.
With Craft SphereCam your camera animations will feel alive. It will look like motion capture because a real live human is holding the levers.

Interesting Features

Pan-around
Craft SphereCam is mounted on an invisible sphere. The center point is the TargetMesh. The camera always looks at the target. You can use Craft to view any object - whether still or animated - by attaching the TargetMesh to the object to be followed.

Configuration Parameters

Enable Follow Sphere Gyro
When this paramter is activated, the SphereCam continues to follow it's target (for example a car) but it maintains its orientation when the car turns. When you pan the around the target, the rotation of Craft SphereCam isn't dependent upon the rotation of the target.

Input Parameters

Maximum Speed
All of the input parameters are configurable so that you can operate at the speed that is needed in your specific scene.

Response Factor
Each input paramter has a response factor between 0 and 1. This determines how quickly the camera reacts to your input. Not only does this make for smooth and pleasant accelerations but also deceleration. With a slow response factor the camera doesn't come to a jolting hault when you let go of the controls.
