Dan Curry
Dan Curry has been involved with the arts since an early age, pursuing expression in film, fine arts, theater, music, and design. He has worked extensively on the ‘Star Trek' franchise including: ‘Star Trek Enterprise'; ‘Star Trek: Voyager'; ‘Deep Space Nine'; and ‘The Next Generation'. Dan's work has also been recognized by seven Emmy Awards, a Visual Effects Society Award, three International Monitor Awards, the first Hollywood Digital Award as well as a number of awards for fine arts. |

Toni Pace Carstensen
Toni's love of art and a good story has led her from New York to LA to San Francisco, by way of the Amazon jungle and Washington D.C. Inspired by the work done by early effects tools, she opened her own studio, CyberGrafix. As executive producer at View Studio, her work on Coppola's ‘White Dwarf', earned her the Broadcast Design Association Gold Award. Toni was a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Visual Effects Society, and first Chair of the Education Committee where she serves as one of the Co-Chairs. |

Pam Hogarth
Pam Hogarth is Director of Industry Relations at The Gnomon School of Visual Effects. Before joining Gnomon, she was Director of the Digital Media Institute. She has taught at The American Film Institute, Otis College of Art and Design, and DMI and has lectured on computer graphics, digital careers and visual effects at various international conferences both in the US and overseas. Pam served two terms on the Board of Directors, was Chairman of the Website Committee of the Visual Effects Society. She is also a co-founder of the Alliance of Digital Effects Production Trainers (ADEPT). |

John Knoll
Hired by Industrial Light & Magic in 1986, John Knoll was promoted to effects camera operator for ‘Captain EO'. He was then called upon to work on the ground breaking digital effects for ‘The Abyss'. Since that time, Knoll has been promoted to Visual Effects Supervisor helming the visual effects for numerous feature films and commercials. Teaming up with his brother who was working on his Doctoral Thesis in computer vision at the University of Michigan, the Knoll brothers created Photoshop in 1987 |

Valerie Delahaye
After arriving from France, Valerie worked at CBS, then Softimage. In 1995, Valerie accepted an offer at Digital Domain as a 3D manager for the very busy film, video and commercial department. More recently Valerie worked for BUF L.A., as a Production Supervisor working on numerous films and commercials, including ‘The Cell', ‘One Hour Photo', ‘Simon', ‘Human Nature', ‘Panic Room', ‘Underworld', ‘Neverland' and the ‘Matrix'. Valerie recently joined the team at Attitude Studio. |

Bill Taylor
During his time as an effects cameraman, Bill Taylor learned Petro Vlahos' Color Difference composite process, and became a specialist in the field of blue screen and compositing. Bill moved to Universal Studios to work with Albert Whitlock until Whitlock retired. Bill Taylor, ASC is co-owner (with Syd Dutton) and Director of Photography at Illusion Arts, Inc. Recent credits include ‘Bruce Almighty', and ‘Van Helsing' for which Illusion Arts created the matte paintings. Taylor has won an Emmy for the mini-series ‘A.D.' and an Academy/Scientific Award. |
